readjust

Buildings form steps up to Coit Tower, which stands tall in the distance, and the sun sets as the city’s flashing lights peak through side streets, ready to light them up after the sun takes its final dip into the horizon.

I took this photo from inside a restaurant in San Francisco’s China Town while eating dinner with a client. In the past week and a half I have been to Brooklyn, San Francisco (for work) and Carrabasset Valley, ME (which is way up north) with a little bit of Taste of the Nation in between. Travel plans and more have taken hold off all my time.

I love the above photo because despite the fact that at first it has a sense of confinement, it begs you to slow down and take a look at what’s beyond the lines and the blur. It forces you to readjust. And sometimes you need that when life gets a little crazy.
