My friend Caitlin recently got engaged and last weekend she hosted her engagement party near her home in New York. She was also kind enough to let us stay with her and her fiancee, Mark, for the entire weekend. With us girls plus Mike and Mark, it was definitely a nice twist to our girls weekend dynamic.
The party was held at Molly Spillanes in Mamaroneck, which has a really nice room upstairs…
…that opens up to a lovely patio. The weather was beautiful and the food was delicious. I probably had four servings worth of the pasta with bacon infused vodka sauce – don’t judge – I see your mouth watering.
As part of our gift to the happy couple, we decided to add in a little something special for Caitlin, something that would be useful and serve as memories of our regular girls weekend trips together (Lisa’s great idea). So we rounded up our photos from our past trips and placed them in these glass, photo coasters…
And all the while, we created some new memories too.

yes!– guinness, mimosas, red stipe, corona, henienken, bud light, and the esteemed bud light lime (BLL)…and bacon vodka sauce, whatever-the-f-was-on-that-steak, and jerk chicken…are now ALL honorary girl weekend members and welcome at ALL occasions.

I always love a girl’s weekend, especially if the girls are up to something crazy and fun. Like crazy karaoke with lots of cocktails involved, my favorite activity! haha
