My good friend Beth from college is getting married in July and this past weekend, Lisa and I drove down to Jersey for her bridal shower, which took place at The Tortilla Press Cantina, a cute Mexican restaurant in South Jersey that foreshadowed her upcoming destination wedding in Mexico.
On Saturday night we found ourselves in the land of gambling, night clubs, a board walk and thirty dollar covers once again at her bachelorette party, which took place in Atlantic City.
We went to The Pool at Harrah’s, which is a resort, but “after dark,” it’s a club with a pool for its centerpiece, a glass dome for a roof that lets in the flashing lights of AC, and little accents that make you feel you are lost on a tropical island somewhere, in paradise.
I’ve always wanted to check out Atlantic City and my friends have talked about doing a girls weekend trip there.
