The latter half of our honeymoon is booked. We are officially going to Malaga, Spain. We foresee our time there to be comprised of relaxing with a handful of day trips to places like Seville and Gibraltar.
Before we reach Spain though, our goal is to stay in Tunisia for a few days. One Travel conveniently lets you book flights to multiple locations at one time, so we’ve been scoping out flights there. We still have to iron out the details of that part of our trip.
Have you ever been to Malaga? Any recommendations?
I’ve never been to Spain but I’m sure wherever you end up you’l have an amazing time. Sounds perfect!

malaga was awesome!!!! it was the first stop on my week in spain last year and the cute little beach town was amazing! the beach is awesome (granted i went in january, so i couldn’t use it but to frolic in the med) the moorish fort was awesome, as was the picasso museum and we found a bunch of cute little off the beaten path restaurants to eat in, and it was easy to walk around and i absolutely LOVED it. also lots of cute tapas bars too!
and you are also pretty close to granada too to go see the alahambra!
We stopped in Malaga on our honeymoon cruise and fell in love! Such a beautiful place. We did an excursion to the nearby village of Mijas which was just gorgeous, I would definitely recommend that. If you like sweet dessert wines, make sure you get your hands on some Malaga Dolce. We also strolled around the Picasso Museum and loved that too!
I’m so excited that you are going to Malaga! I got back from there a couple of weeks ago and it was beautiful! We loved it very much. We were only there for a day so we didn’t see a ton of the area but what I did see was beautiful. Like Cara we also went to Mijas and recommend it. It was a lot of fun!!
