Tonight Mike told me that Sunday is Red Sox opening day at Fenway Park – the start of baseball season. To me, that means strolls on Lansdowne Street, grabbing a drink at a cool place like Bleacher Bar and of course, the sausage guy.
The sausage guy is as much a part of the Fenway Park experience as is a Fenway Frank. He waits outside of the entrance among the many sports bars scattering the streets, making the most amazing sausages that are always piping hot and covered in onions and peppers. I’m not sure what Landsdowne Street would be without him.
When the weather gets warm he’ll even venture away from the park like Faneuil Hall, where drunk people pour out of bars in search for something salty, greasy and delicious. Sober, drunk, hyped up on the Sox or even from dancing inside a trendy bar, a sausage from The Sausage Guy always hits the spot.

I went to a charity gala a few weeks ago and one of the fabulous perks that came with our tickets was the fact that the sausage guy set up shop outside the event during the last hour, so when people stumbled outside…free sausage guy sausages! It was amazing.
Hot dogs from street vendors always taste the best, don’t you think? I have no idea why. They seem to be better than the ones in restaurants
Sadly enough, hot dogs are about my favorite food! Best hotdogs I’ve ever had were in a little specialty store in Australia that only sold hotdogs. They were a foot long each and were just the best thing ever =D
The sausage guy is my main homie.
nice picture, but who puts ketchup and mustard on a sausage guy sausage?
