In December 2008 I visited my friend Sue in El Salvador. In order to save on the flight, I took her recommendation and flew to Guatemala first, where we stayed for a couple of days, exploring Guatemala City and Antigua. It was a decision I will never regret. Above, I am sorting through some authentic Guatemalan coffee at the Jade Factory in Antigua. It was delicious.





















I went to Guatemala for a 3 days last summer. Definitely one of the best trips I’ve been on.
Did you hike one of the volcanoes there?

Guatemala is such an amazing country!!! I convinced my gf to study spanish there for 3 months. She just left last week and already I received an email from her thanking me and that she’s totally fallen in love with it.
