Let me just make something clear – I am not one to check out my horoscope.
But, I was scanning iVillage and somehow came across this travel astrology site and my curiosity got the best of me. I wasn’t even looking for anything travel related, I was actually trying to figure out what I should make for dinner tonight. You might say it was destined to find me….yeah right.
Anyway, I thought it’s description of my travel profile was hilarious:
| Who IS that stepping from that gilded carriage … |

… royalty? A world leader? Nah, it’s probably just a Leo. Those born under this Sign know how to travel in style, and if it’s not in a Cinderella-like carriage, it’s probably via the Orient Express or the Concorde. Lions love to be treated like royalty because in their world, they’re just that. When they hit the road, it’s first-class all the way.
Bigger is always better for the Lion, so think of the Grand Tour, a hacienda in Cuernavaca or a private Greek island. And while Leos are possessed of considerable physical strength and stamina, they’d much rather have a car and driver take them from one splendid sight to the next. Organized and creative as they are, Leos love to set the agenda when traveling, and it’ll surely be a good one.
They’ll also travel with a few friends in tow, the better for all to see what shining stars they are. Royalty needs its court, after all. They won’t dawdle over any one part of the journey, either — a quick peek at the Mona Lisa is fine, just enough to tell the folks back home about it. Travel for Leos is all about ease, which is why they pack that all those credit cards. Someone will worry about the bill later …
I don’t even know what to say about that. The site also calculates your travel compatibility with significant others. This was slightly more on target. Apparently, Mike and I are cool to travel together, that was good to find out after all this time.
When Leo and Taurus travel together, they complement one another perfectly. Both people are very perceptive and willing to accommodate the other’s needs for food, rest and sleep. The uncanny coincidence of their shared interests makes them want to do see the same sights at the same time. The entire trip will be a five-star tour, as both of these folks enjoy a little luxury and pampering. Top of the line all the way for these two! Taurus loves having such a charming and chatty travel companion, and Leo likes to feel needed as the one to make the itinerary. They prefer to travel together, and both are aware that they’ve found a very special companion with whom they can trot the globe.

Wow, that is funny. And I feel like it is totally untrue to my traveling! I’m also a Leo!

Greetings fellow traveler!!! I’m so excited to have found your blog. I love this post, as I’m a Leo too. I’m going to have to check out the site even though I’m not big into astrology either. It looks cute though. Safe travels and I look forward to reading about your future adventures.
