I have been too focused on planning my days off from work around weddings throughout the rest of the year to realize that we are are only getting closer to Memorial Day and summer is just around the corner. Luckily, I have had some helpful people keep me in the loop when it comes to what kind of travel deals are out there…
Dollar Rental Car has summer vacation rental deals, which includes American Express Cardmembers 10% discount off any vehicle.
Dealbase.com is blowing up, if you haven’t noticed, and they have found some pretty great hotel deals around the U.S.
Some Memorial Day packages are being offered by The Hay-Adams Hotel in Washington, DC and, if you are in Florida, so is the Colony Beach & Tennis Resort.
If need to plan beyond Memorial Day and are anywhere near West Hollywood, the Sunset Marquis has a Home for the Holidays package with Memorial, Independence and Labor Day discounts.
And, if you are in Napa, the Silverado Resort has a Stay 2 Nights, Get the 3rd Night Free, which includes a bottle of wine!
Finally, Kayak’s daily email jumped out at me today because it included an Ireland Fly and Drive package that starts at $249 and includes RT airfare to Dublin, 7 day Hertz car rental with unlimited mileage- you have to book by May 29th.
