protecting my macbook and my old routine

Before we moved into our new neighborhood, Mike and I liked to go to a local coffee shop and drink coffee while I clicked away on my lap top and he flipped through flashcards studying for one of the many exams he must complete to become a registered architect.

It was nice, and it was one of the things we never thought we’d drop considering we were moving into a neighborhood where coffee shops abound, and are in walking distance!

The one shop that has the longest hours however, is constantly full. Sometimes we walk passed and just skip it, other times we walk in and end up getting the coffee to go, study books in hand and lap top in tow.

In addition to wanting a temporary change in scenery from time to time, I am also excited to try out a new toy I bought at the Apple store the day I returned from my trip to Central America – it was one of those better late than never purchases.

This incase neoprene sleeve is the most convenient thing ever and it is much better than the sweatshirt that used to encase my Macbook on travels. It fits perfectly around my lap top so I can still put it in my big purse – I love that.

Hopefully my patience will win out and I will actually get to use it and enjoy our old routine in our new neighborhood.
