Bryce and I braved the freezing rain and made it to the Boston Globe Travel Show yesterday. It was extremely productive.
As we set out to sign up for as many drawings as possible, to score free trips to anywhere, we stumbled upon the Seaworld Orlando booth and there were penguins, real live penguins…

They are so cute I can’t even stand it.
Our next order of business was to find out what deals Montreal had to offer, as you many remember from my New Year Resolutions, this is a city that we want to tackle on one of our weekend getaways. We grabbed a brochure that listed some hotels deals, which will definitely come in handy for when we plan our trip. You can find them at Montrealsweetdeal.com.
We also got some information on taking The Cat up to Nova Scotia, which is a trip that I want to take with Mike, as soon as we come across a lull in weddings.
We also stopped by the Malaysia booth. And I still can’t really believe it but, it looks like Malaysia Airlines has incredible round trip airfare deals from Newark to:
Stockholm, starting at $209
Kuala Lumpur/Singapore, starting at $588
Bangkok/Saigon, starting at $590
Jakarta/Surabaya, starting at $590
Denpasar/Manila, starting at $590
Hanoi/Phnom Penh, starting at $590
Sydney/Melbourne, starting at $1,203
Perth, starting at $1,003
These apply when you travel between Feb 16 – May 31 and you must purchase the tickets by March 31. You can call their NY sales office at 212-697-8994 or email nycsales@malaysiaairlines.com.
We are seriously thinking about making a trip to Stockholm…

Wow, those are some fabulous airfares. What I’d give to go to Kuala Lumpur or Syndey right now! And those are the most adorable critters EVER!

I love penguins! Were they aloud to walk around at all? They look kind of cramped in that tiny box.
Go. To. Stockholm!
I’ve been to about 30 countries and Sweden is still one of my favorite destinations. I’ve made friends with some girls who live in Uppsala since my first visit and I’m using that as an excuse to return this summer.
Do it! Stockholm sounds AMAZING! And those penguins are so cute!
