I sign up for so many emails lists and newsletters that I usually have to delete them to avoid getting my inbox into double digits. Taking the time to open the ones I don’t read and actually unsubscribe would be less time consuming than deleting unread emails everyday, but for some reason I can’t bring myself to do it. Doctor Dictionary and the History Channel’s “This Day in History” have been seeing a lot of my e-trash lately.
One alert that I have been ignoring, but recently made the decision to turn my attention to is Trazzler.

I blogged about Trazzler upon discovery and then totally shelved it. Last night’s weekly recommendation jumped out at me because it was the email that made me realize that Trazzler is not just a website or an e-blast- it is a mind reader. Don’t believe me?
As you know, I recently moved. I didn’t tell Trazzler, but yesterday it sent me a recommendation for where to go based on my new city. I have know idea how it knows that I moved, but I’m impressed.
The recommendations are based on your location and your “travel personality,” which from what I can gather, is comprised of your location and your “wish list.”
This week, Trazzler recommended I go Shopping for Funky Goods at RISD/Works in Providence, Rhode Island.

Seems very cool.
Last night I decided to actually go into my account and make updates to my wish list. I can’t wait to see what it recommends now that I have a more complex travel personality.

I love that store- RISD! I have a really fun messanger bag I got there! You would love it!!!
That sounds like fun…I may just try it out!
Cool! Thanks for passing along!
Camels & Chocolates last blog post..Anatomy of a Frequent Flier
I subscribe to so many PR related e-newsletters, but I pretty much delete them daily, because I don’t have time to read them!
How fun! I might have to sign up for Trazzler!
