For many, the holidays bring travel. And with the New Year around the corner, what better way to get a jump start on thinking about one of my planned resolutions – going greener.
So, in the spirit of Christmas and going green, this week I thought I would wrap up some great links that offer insight, tips and advice into both:
- Earlier this month, Go Green Travel Green posted 21 Gift Ideas for Green Travelers.
- Daily Danny is traveling to 6 places in four days to spread the green message.
- Travel Rants posted five travel tips for a green Christmas.
- Matthew McDermott on Treehugger discussed how bad it is taking a cab to the airport compared to the flight itself.

Great blog, I really liked this post. I love everything green! I will be back and have bookmarked your site, thanks.
It is important that we become aware of all the consequences of damaging our own environment. We have to find places that preserve the environment. There are a lot of green hotels in Riviera Maya that seek to preserve the environment. We should visit those countries that foster the preservation of the environment so that we can use Mexico packages while doing environmentally friendly practices!!
