Still full from Thanksgiving and an awesome dinner in the South End last night as we hosted friends from Philly, I only have the energy for a photo post that will bring back memories of last Thursday.
My mom made mashed potatoes.
We also had gravy and carrots and turnips.
I put together a nice mimosa.
My brother Patrick made fried shrimp.
My dad made a turkey with Tyler Florence’s recipe, it was in a brine over night.
There was also a roast.
It was delicious.
Mashed potatoes are my favorite!

I love how lots of people’s Thanksgiving dinners are basically the same, but so unique to their family. Annnd I didn’t have fried shrimp at my Thanksgiving dinner…that looks good!
