weekend in narragansett

Last weekend Mike, my sister Jenny and I spent the weekend in the Ocean State. Known for their clam cakes, cold tomatoe pie and quahogs, we got to spend our time in one of their best beach towns – Narragansett, where water towers serve as points of reference when giving directions (see below) and many New Englanders go to surf, apparently the waves are good here, but don’t tell the locals I let out the secret.

Home from LA, my friend Kerry invited us down to her family’s beach house where we celebrated her recent engagement, drank beer, ate tons of food, and even played a game of old school trivia circa 1981. We also took a ride in her father’s boat and toured the bay.

Will be back next year for the wedding…
