In the New York Times Travel Q&A blog, questions “about the ever-changing world of travel, from navigating the modern hassles of flying, to finding the perfect vacation spot…” are answered by Times editors and writers from around the world. While watching the discovery channel a while back, Mike and I both expressed interest in visiting beautiful Croatia, so last week’s topic, “Off the Tourist Track in Ljubljana,” jumped right out at me.
My husband and I have booked a guided adventure trip in Croatia from the end of May to the beginning of June and are considering a few days in Ljubljana. Can you suggest any must-sees for two travelers who don’t do sights and museums? And I’m wondering about the weather this time of year.
The answer highlighted recommendations from galleries, nightclubs and art studios in Metelkova City, a food market in Ljubljana to Le Petit Café.
